Czech Republic beats the Netherlands

[INTERNATIONAL] The Czech Republic, which fell to the USA, 1-0, last week, opened its Euro 2016 qualifying campaign with a 2-1 win over the Netherlands. The Dutch, who finished third at the World Cup, suffered a rare qualifying loss on Daryl Janmaat's howler.

In stoppage time, he attempted to nod the ball back to goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen but instead it hit the opposite post and bounced to Vaclav Pilar for an easy tap-in.

After Portugal, Greece and Switzerland, Bosnia-Herzegovina became the fourth World Cup finalist to lose its opening Euro 2016 qualifier at home, falling to Cyprus, 2-1.

Although we could not watch it on ESPN2 in HD because those idiots decided to have some schedule change to some STUPID NFL crap, we were able to watch it on Czech TV, since we are able to stream it through a set-top box to which we subscribe. Note to ESPN: Soccer fans don't want to watch NFL bull crap when they take time off from work in the middle of the day to watch a Euro Cup Qualification game. It makes them EXTREMELY ANGRY! We could have missed this very exciting game had we not had an alternative. What about everyone else, though, who may not have these alternatives? THEY WERE EXPECTING A SOCCER GAME AND GOT -THE WORST OF ALL- NFL CRAP! (PISSED, PISSED, PISSED!!!)

I'm with you Andrea. I was not pleased with ESPN last night when I had the time to watch the game. I kept ffwd'ing through the 3 hours of DVR'ed NFL Mike & Mike uselessness, until I finally slowed down long enough to catch an "announcement" on the crawl. Not every ESPN subscriber has access to ESPN3 or can watch at work. My Boheme blood is boiling. Please find an answer, Soccer America. Make them answer for their ineptitude.
