Freshmen show off talents in 'fantastic' Big Ten showdown

No. 8 Wisconsin won a battle of unbeaten Big Ten teams when the Badgers defeated No. 15 Michigan State, 2-1, in overtime on a pair of goals from freshman midfielder Becca Harrison. The winner came off a corner kick in the first minute of overtime. “We felt great going into the overtime,” said Michigan State coach Tom Saxton said. “It was a fantastic college soccer match. Unfortunately, it didn’t end well for us in overtime, but [it was] a great match both ways.” Freshman forward Jamie Cheslik scored for the Spartans on a chip from 20 yards.
