U.S. WOMEN ABROAD (June 22-24): Becky Barritt, FC Honka seeks Finnish Cup semifinals

FC Honka, with former Duquesne University defender Becky Barritt on its backline, seeks to overcome a 1-0 deficit Thursday at home in the second leg of its Finnish Women's Cup quarterfinal against crosstown rival FC Espoo.

Espoo won the first leg last week on a 48th-minute goal by Finnish national-teamer Jannica Tjeder, who will be a freshman at Notre Dame in the fall. Barritt has played 90 minutes in both of Honka's Naisten Suomen Cup matches since arriving following her graduation for Duquesne.

In other midweek action, Americans' clubs will play Tuesday in Iceland and Wednesday in Russia.
