U.S. WOMEN ABROAD (June 24-28): Asker climbs in Norway

Asker moved up one spot to third place Saturday in the Norwegian Toppserien after picking up a point on the road in a scoreless tie at second-place Roa.

Former Philadelphia Charge forward Darci Borski was a second-half substitute for Asker (4-1-4), which is even with Floya and Kolbotn (both 5-3-1) on points but has a stronger goal-differential. Roa (6-2-1) trails first-place Trondheims-Orn (8-0-1) by six points.

Kolbotn dropped from third with a 4-2 loss to Trondheims-Orn (8-0-1).

Russian Supreme League leader FC Energy Voronezh, with Americans Jenny Benson and Danica Carey, are home Monday against Nadezhda and Thursday against Ryazan-TNK.
