[ROUNDUP: Saturday] No. 10 North Carolina came back from two goals down to stun No. 12 Notre Dame with a 3-2 overtime win before a crowd of 2,024 fans in South Bend. Senior Kat Nigro scored the winning goal 27 seconds into the second overtime period with just the second goal of her career. The defeat marked the first time in 352 games Notre Dame lost after leading by two goals.

Goals by Morgan Andrews and Taylor Klawunder put the Irish up 2-0 after 40 minutes, but Carolina got back into the game with a goal by Cameron Castleberry in the 61st minute. It drew even in the 76th minute on Joanna Boyles' free kick from 24 yards.

-- No. 2 Virginia opened ACC play with a 3-1 victory over Miami (Fla.) in front of 2,231 fans at Kloeckner Stadium. Makenzy Doniak had a goal and an assist and Kristen McNabb and Olivia Hazelrigg also scored for the Cavaliers, who ran their ACC regular-season winning streak to 16 matches.

-- No. 16 Iowa picked up its fourth straight shutout with a 1-0 victory over Minnesota. The Hawkeyes, who won on a goal by sophomore Amanda Lulek, are off to a 3-0-0 start in the Big Ten, their best league start in program history.

-- Marisa Kresge, Kinley McNicoll and Kodee Williams scored to give No. 17 Wisconsin a 3-0 win over Nebraska.
