[ROUNDUP: Friday] Just how tough the Pac-12 will be this season was evident as No. 1 UCLA and No. 4 Stanford both had to settle for 1-1 draws at Arizona State and Utah, respectively, on Friday in their conference openers. No. 7 Texas Tech suffered its first setback of the 2014 season when Olivia Brook delivered a golden goal, her sixth goal of the season, to give Texas a 1-0 win over the Red Raiders. The result left No. 2 Virginia as the only unbeaten and untied team heading into the Cavs' match at No. 6 Florida State on Sunday.

No. 1 UCLA trailed for the first time this season but came back to tie No. 19 Arizona State, 1-1, in Tempe. Cali Farquharson gave ASU the lead in the 49th minute, but UCLA senior Rosie White tied it up in the 67th minute with her fifth goal of the season.

No. 4 Stanford allowed a goal for the first time this season, and it earned unbeaten Utah a 1-1 draw in the Pac-12 opener for both teams. The result extended the Utes' best start ever.

– A goal in each half from Lauren Silver and U.S. U-20 Savannah Jordan gave No. 5 Florida a 2-1 win over No. 21 Georgia Friday evening in front of a crowd of 2,244.

-- In another SEC match, Lauren Selaiden put Missouri ahead on the half hour mark, and the goal held up for a 1-0 Mizzou win over No. 20 South Carolina.

-- No. 24 Illinois won its fourth straight game with a 4-1 road victory over Ohio State. Senior Jannelle Flaws scored twice to become the first-ever Illini with multiple goals in four consecutive contests and increased her Big Ten-leading total to 13 goals.
