Brazil and Colombia top Copa America Femenina

[2015 WOMEN'S WORLD CUP] Brazil and Colombia earned South America's two automatic berths for the 2015 Women's World Cup in Canada. They finished 1-2 at the 2014 Copa America Femenina in Ecuador, which finished third and will meet the fourth-place Concacaf team in a playoff.

Brazil had qualified after two games of the final stage with a 4-0 win over Ecuador and 6-0 win over Argentina, avenging a 2-0 loss to Argentina in the group stage. It won the Copa America for the sixth time. The only other team to win was Argentina in 2006.

Colombia's 0-0 tie with Brazil was enough to earn the Cafeteras a berth in the Women's World Cup finals for the second straight time.

Ecuador's 3-2 victory over Argentina on the final day earned the hosts third place. Ecuador came back from 2-0 down after 24 minutes to win on goals by Carina Caicedo, Ingrid Rodriguez and Giannina Lattanzio.
