Georgia midfielder Laura Eddy
has torn the anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee three times and never quit. After the latest injury, she expected to
have to take a year off, but the sixth-year senior came back from last year’s injury in a 3-1 victory over Vanderbilt. “I would hope my attitude through it is something that kind of shone
through,” Eddy said. “Not that it was great all the time -- there were a lot of ups and downs -- but not quitting and staying focused on my goals and not giving up.” The No. 21
Bulldogs are trying to ease her back, but her return was opportune as two other players were lost with season-ending injuries.
