Barca Trio Surpasses 40 International Goals, Each

The Daily Mail reports that Barcelona’s front trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez have all scored more than 40 goals each for their respective countries, despite carrying an average age of just 25. During the most recent international break, Brazil international Neymar scored four against Japan while Argentina captain Messi and Uruguay striker Suarez scored twice against Hong Kong and Oman, respectively, in friendly wins for the South American giants. The goals brought Neymar, 22, to an astonishing 40 goals in 58 appearances for Brazil, while Messi, 27, has hit 44 in 95 for Argentina and Suarez, also 27, has 42 in 79 caps for Uruguay. Altogether, the Barca trio combines for 126 goals in 232 international appearances.
