Portugal coach Fernando Santos hailed Cristiano Ronaldo after his last-gasp winner in Copenhagen guided Portugal to a much-needed 1-0 against Denmark in Euro 2016 qualifying. Ronaldo headed home a Ricardo Quaresma cross in the 95th-minute to get Portugal’s qualifying campaign back on track following a disappointing 1-0 home defeat to Albania last month. The win lifted Santos’ men to third in the Group I standings with three points from two games, just one point behind surprise leader Albania and second-place Denmark. After the game, Santos said: "Cristiano is Cristiano. He is a winner, and there are no adjectives to describe him."
