had a goal and an assist to give No. 5 North Carolina a 2-1 overtime victory at Syracuse on Sunday and a share of the ACC regular-season championship with No. 2 Florida State. Both teams
finished 9-0-1 in the standings.

Since starting the season 1-2-1, Carolina has gone 11-0-1 in its last 12 games with only a tie against Florida State marring a perfect slate in
that stretch. This marks the Tar Heels' first ACC regular-season title since 2010 when they won it outright and the 21st time in history that they has won or tied for first place.
Carolina will play No. 4 Virginia and Florida State will face No. 7 Notre Dame in the semifinals of the ACC Women’s Tournament Friday at the UNCG Soccer Stadium in Greensboro, N.C. Both games
Friday will be telecast on ESPN3. Sunday’s championship game will be telecast on ESPNU.
Florida State beat Duke, 2-0, Friday night at the Seminole Soccer Complex, limiting the
Blue Devils to just three shots and one shot on goal in 90 minutes of action. Seniors Marta Bakowska-Mathews
provided all the scoring.
The loss left Duke with an 8-9-1 record and eliminated it from the NCAA Tournament after a 11-year run. Wake Forest's string of 18
straight NCAA Tournament appearances also ended. The Demon Deacons (5-9-3) will miss the NCAA Tournament for the first time in head coach Tony da Luz
