A weighted draw on Friday will determine the draft ranking. Using an envelope method, playoff teams will receive one envelope, while all non-playoff teams, along with
2015 expansion teams New York City FC and Orlando City, will be given two envelopes.
Players taken in the Dispersal Draft could end up in December's Expansion Draft if they are not
protected. Players not taken in the Dispersal Draft will move into either the Waiver Draft or Re-Entry Draft.
Chivas USA's prized asset, Erick "Cubo"
, will not enter the Dispersal Draft as MLS works on negotiating a long-term agreement with him. He is currently on loan from Chivas de Guadalajara.
