[COLLEGE] The NCAA Division I Women's Tournament draw was conducted on Monday. UCLA, Stanford, Florida State and Texas A&M are the No. 1 regional seeds in the
tournament that kicks off on Friday.
The Pac-12 led all conferences with nine teams in the 64-team field. The SEC was second with eight teams in the NCAA Tournament, while the ACC and Big
12 have six representatives.
Six teams are making their postseason debuts: Buffalo, Houston Baptist, New Hampshire, Prairie View A&M, Rider and SIU-Edwardsville.
Among
the teams that did not make this year's tournament were three 2013 quarterfinalists -- Boston College, Duke and Michigan -- and former champions Portland and Santa Clara.
