Barcelona forward Neymar says he is in the best form of his career after he scored another two goals for Brazil in a 4-0 friendly win against Turkey in Istanbul. The Selecao captain opened and closed the scoring to take his incredible international goals tally to 42 in just 59 games.
When asked by TV Globo if he is enjoying the best form of his life, the 22-year-old said: "I think so! I’m very emotional. It’s another country, another stadium to keep in my heart. I didn’t expect this, I couldn’t be happier. But I always want more. I don’t want to remain at this level.”
Brazil has now won five consecutive games under new head coach Dunga, who replaced Luiz Felipe Scolari following Brazil’s disappointing fourth-place finish at the World Cup. “Things are flowing now," Neymar said. "We have great players, not only with the Selecao, but in Brazil as a whole. Players keep coming in and out but we never lose rhythm. We were great out there tonight!"
Next up for the Selecao is visit to Vienna to face Austria on Tuesday.
