German freshman Daniel Neustadter scored the game-winning goal for the Friars. Sixth seeded Fordham won the Atlantic-10 championship for the first time since 1996 with a 1-0 win over No. 21 Rhode Island. Two days earlier, the Rams beat No. 9 Saint Louis.
