Abby Wambach's goal in the 3-0 victory over Iceland Wednesday night in Pittsburgh was her team-leading 21st goal of the year, tying Tiffeny Milbrett for the second most goals in a calendar year in the history of the women's national team behind Michelle Akers (39 in 1991).

Kristine Lilly's goal against Iceland Wednesday gave her 99 goals in her U.S. career. Her next goal will make her the fifth player to enter the century club. Mia Hamm leads all women's players with 154 goals, followed by Italian Elisabetta Vignotto at 107 and Akers and Italian Carolina Morace at 105.
