Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola said he hopes “with all my heart” that Lionel Messi ends his career with Barcelona. Speaking ahead of his team’s UEFA Champions League clash with Manchester City on Tuesday, the former Barca coach reflected on Messi’s recent comments about possibly leaving the Catalana giant, as well as his most recent achievement at the club: surpassing Telmo Zarra’s La Liga scoring record. “What he’s done is incredible,” Guardiola said. “He has broken a record that everyone thought was unbreakable, a figure which was unreachable -- and one which has stood for 60 years. It will take another 600 years before his record is broken."
