Univision averaged 847,000 viewers and UniMas averaged 801,000 viewers for their coverage of the Liga MX's Torneo Apertura in Mexico, outdistancing NBC for its coverage of the English Premier League.
Univision and UniMas beat out NBC’s EPL coverage by 9 percent and 3 percent, respectively.
Most significantly, the audience for Liga MX on Univision and UniMas continued to grow. It
was up 2 percent on Univision and 29 percent on UniMas in comparison to 2013. It was the most-viewed Apertura regular season on Univision since 2011.

registered the youngest median age of any major professional sport on a broadcast network with a median age of 38 years, younger than all other soccer leagues, as well as MLB on Fox (60 years), NFL on
CBS/NBC/Fox (49 years), NHL on NBC (49 years) and NBA on ABC (44 years).
UDN -- Univision's sports-only network -- had its most-viewed Apertura regular season, averaging 256,000
viewers per match, up 58 percent vs. prior year.
Indicative of the interest among younger Hispanics, UDN averaged 155,000 viewers per game for adults 18-49, besting the recently completed
Major League Baseball regular season on TBS by 25 percent.
