John Hackworth will hold his first camp since being named U.S. under-15 boys national team when 36 players, including players based at Barcelona, Paris St.
Germain and Argentine club Estudiantes, assemble Saturday in Bradenton, Florida.
“It’s exciting for me and my staff to work with 36 very talented young men and spend the next
week with them,” Hackworth said. “We want to try to relay some fundamental ideas about how they can progress as players. We have some clear objectives to share tactically with the group,
and we want to build on what they did in their previous camp for future events.”
The LA Galaxy leads all clubs with four players from its academy team in camp. Eleven players in all
hail from the Los Angeles area.
