Real Coasts into Club World Cup Final

Sergio Ramos, Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Isco bagged the goals as Real Madrid coasted into Saturday’s Club World Cup final with a 4-0 win against Concacaf champ Cruz Azul on Tuesday in the semifinal in Marrakech. “Only a match away from a new opportunity,” a satisfied Carlo Ancelotti said after the game. “We'll be ready 100 percent. I think the team deserves this title.”

Regardless of what happens in Saturday’s final, which will be played against either South American champ San Lorenzo of Argentina or Oceania champ Auckland City of New Zealand, many are already calling Real the world’s best team: Tuesday’s win was Los Blancos’ 21st in a row in all competitions.

After the game, Cruz Azul coach Luis Fernando Tena had no complaints, conceding that Ancelotti’s men were “highly superior.”
