According to Italian soccer site Calciomercato, Manchester United may consider getting second-choice striker
Radamel Falcao’s huge wages off its during the January transfer window, with
Juventus among the teams interested in the Colombian international’s signature. The former Porto and Atletico Madrid striker would not be ineligible for the UEFA Champions League since United is
not involved in the competition this season. The Web site reports point out that Juve would have to pay half of Falcao’s 12 million ($14.7 million) euro salary to make a six-month loan move a
possibility.
