Lynden Gooch, who had flown in
from England after playing for Sunderland's U-21s against Celtic's U-21s Wednesday in the Premier League International Cup, scored the gamewinner in the second half for the U-20s, who finished the
year with a 6-1-2 record in international play.
The USA had defeated Honduras three days earlier as it wrapped up preparations for the 2015 Concacaf U-20 Championship in January.

Mauricio Pineda, younger brother of former U.S. U-20 forward
Victor Pineda, scored for the USA. For Pineda, it was his second goal in two games. He has scored in the USA's 2-1 win on Wednesday.
