Mendes: Ronaldo Could Finish Career in MLS

Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes claims that his client, who signed a new contract with Real Madrid in September 2013, could follow in the footsteps of Steven Gerrard and finish his career in the U.S. after his current contract expires in 2018, when he would be 34 -- the same age as Gerrard, who announced his decision to leave Liverpool for MLS last Friday. "He will finish his career at Real Madrid, and after that, perhaps he will go to the United States. Only God knows what will happen," Mendes said, before adding that a big-money move to another European super-club like Paris Saint-Germain, is “impossible."
