Marsh and Smyth host 'Grumpy Pundits' on SiriusXM

Rodney Marsh and Tommy Smyth are hosting "Grumpy Pundits," a new show on SiriusXM FC, SiriusXM’s 24/7 soccer channel.

Marsh, who starred in both England and the United States in the 1960s and 1970s, and Smyth, the longtime soccer commentator for ESPN, will host the show every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9-11 am ET on SiriusXM FC, channel 94.

"I'm excited to have the opportunity to be on SiriusXM FC and give fans what they want -- live, unedited, raw opinions," said Marsh. "You might not always like what you're gonna hear, but it'll be honest."

SiriusXM FC offers listeners a mix of soccer talk and play-by-play. The channel features live play-by-play from the best leagues around the world as well as daily soccer talk programming hosted by, among others, John Harkes, Tony Meola, Ray Hudson and Charlie Stillitano.

In listening to the SiriusXMFC on the State of US Soccer, and complaints all around....I would like to propose for all stakeholders to consider this RADICAL approach:
Get away from using the word SOCCER. The fake (NFL) football crowd belittles it whenever it can.
Can we re-constitute MLS as MLF, meaning MAJOR LEAGUE FOOTBALL.....the real global game actually played with the feet. No need to be subservient to the NFL anymore.
Tommy, I like to hear your thoughts and also the thoughts of the guy who hosts the show on US State of Major League Football.
    Georg Simon.
