Report: Valdes Signs 18-Month Deal with Man United

Former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes has accepted an offer to join Manchester United for 18 months, BBC Sport reports. Valdes, 32, won six La Liga and three UEFA Champions League titles with Barcelona, before leaving at the end of last season when his contract expired. According to the report, the deal raises questions about the future of current United No. 1 David De Gea, who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
