Wood and Wooten score two apiece in 2. Bundesliga

A change of scenery has done Bobby Wood a world of good. The Hawaiian-born forward made the move from 1860 Munich to Erzgebirge Aue days after debuting as a starter for the U.S. national team, and in his second start for Aue scored twice in the first 31 minutes of its 3-2 win at Fortuna Duesseldorf in the German second division.

In his first start since leaving 1860 Munich, where he had a falling out with management, Wood helped set up the first goal for Aue in a 2-0 win over RB Berlin. Against Fortuna, Wood showed his ability to get open, finding space for easy goals in the 15th and 31st minutes.

It was the first away win of the campaign for Aue, which climbed out of the relegation zone.
