The residency program will target aspiring youth players at the U-14
to U-18 level from the Mid-Atlantic region, across the country and around the globe. It will include five-day and seven-day residential programs that allow for morning and afternoon training
sessions.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with one of the region's top independent schools to provide the best possible experience for serious student-athletes,” said
D.C. United General Manager Dave Kasper. “Our goal is to provide a challenging soccer environment to help players reach their full potential, and to
identify and develop players who can one day become professional players.”
Awesome news! Residency is the key. You can attract players from all over that are not in a MLS 75 zone. How much will it cost? If they make a trial are they in? That would have to be key or its just a glorified ODP type program.
I am a soccer player.I am 20 andI am relishing the chance to play MLS league in the future. My biggest barrier is my Geographical location(SierraLeone).will I get the chance to have a trial with U23 squad?
