USA romps in Bosnia-Herzegovina, 5-2

The U.S. team preparing for Olympic qualifying defeated Bosnia-Herzegovina's under-21 team, 5-2, in a friendly played Friday in Tuzla.

and Mario Rodriguez scored to give the USA a 2-0 lead after 12 minutes (video), and Alonso Hernandez, Benji Joya and Fatai Alashe added second-half goals in Andi Herzog's first game in charge of the team.

The Americans were a year older than the Bosnians, who began their preparations for 2017 UEFA U-21 qualifying under Darko Nestorovic.

The USA heads to Denmark for a match on Tuesday.
