NASL Weekend: Cosmos greats return for Raul home debut

The New York Cosmos open their third season at home on Saturday, and they'll have special guests. Pele and Franz Beckenbauer, stars on the Cosmos of old, will be at the game against the Tampa Bay Rowdies at Shuart Stadium.



NASL, Spring Week 3 Schedule:
SATURDAY, APRIL 18
Ottawa vs. Minn. United
New York vs. Tampa Bay
Carolina vs. Atlanta
San Antonio vs. Indy Eleven
SUNDAY, APRIL 19
FC Edmonton vs. Ft. Lauderdale

More specifically, the game at Hofstra will mark the New York debut of Spanish star Raul. The Cosmos and Rowdies come into the game tied for first with Carolina after two weeks.

Defending champion San Antonio is the only team without a point and looks to get back on track when it hosts Indy Eleven on Saturday.
