Some games are a tale of two halves. FC Dallas-Toronto FC was a tale of two days. Dallas held on to win 3-2 in game that was delayed 206 minutes because of lightning and thunderstorms and finished
shortly before 1 a.m. local time in Frisco.

Dallas took the lead
after Fabian Castillo scored after a club-record 29 seconds and led 3-0 after 27 minutes. Play was halted in the 42nd minute because lights went out at Toyota
Stadium. The rains left huge puddles on the field, but after the grounds crew got the Frisco field playable the game resumed at 11:42 p.m. local time. Late in the second half -- yes, there was a
15-minute intermission -- Italian Sebastian Giovinco scored twice to make the game close.
Omar Gonzalez,
who began the game on the bench after starting for the USA against Mexico on Wednesday, came on in the second half and scored the winner four minutes into stoppage time in the LA Galaxy's 2-1 win over
Sporting Kansas City. Back-to-back wins moved the Galaxy from last place to third place in the Western Conference.
Nine-man Real Salt Lake's 1-0 loss to Vancouver left the New York Red
Bulls as the only remaining unbeaten team.
Seattle's 3-1 win over Colorado featured this goal of the year candidate from Obafemi Martins:

Obefami Martins is a colorful, exiting player to watch, obviously he loves the game so much that his primary mission in the pitch, besides scoring goals,is to entertain the crowds. This one against The Rapids is a beauty and I have watch it many times.
