UEFA on Wednesday charged Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola and FC Porto boss Julen Lopetegui for separate incidents that occurred during the teams’ UEFA Champions Leaguequarterfinal second leg clash, which Bayern won 6-1. Guardiola was charged for an “incident of non-sporting nature” after wearing a T-shirt to his pregame news conference with the message “Justiciapara Topo,” dedicated to Argentine reporter Jorge “Topo” Lopez, who died in a car crash during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Lopetegui, meanwhile, was charged following his dismissal from thebench during Tuesday’s clash at the Allianz Arena, after being sent off following Ivan Marcano’s late red card.
