-- Toni, the 68-year-old Portuguese coach of Tractor Sazi (and a former player with the NASL Las Vegas Silverbacks) after his Iranian team thought it had won the Gulf Pro League when it was told its only challenger, Sepahan, had tied 3-3 in its final match. Sepahan had actually won, 2-0, but news of the victory was initially withheld from Tractor Sazi's stadium to prevent rioting in the crowd of 90,000, which it exactly what happened when they discovered the ruse.
