Video Pick: Ice Hockey player wins our Goal of the Week

Once in a while the VP ventures off the soccer field -- like when we witnessed a rabona onside kick or when Gedion Zelalem shot hoops with Thierry Henry and Aaron Ramsey. Today it's a cabezazo on ice -- the Chicago Blackhawks' Andrew Shaw scoring with a header against the Anaheim Ducks.

Alas, the goal didn't stand, because of this rule: “Apparent goals shall be disallowed when the puck has been directed, batted or thrown into the net by an attacking player other than with a stick.”

The Blackhawks still won, 3-2, after Shaw's overtime header was denied. "I was just out there using my head, I guess,” he told reporters.
