Homare Sawa as the only players to be picked for six Women's World Cups. Formiga, who played played in WPS along with
Marta,
Cristiane and
Maurine, played in 21 games for Brazil in the Women's World Cup
and 24 games in the Olympics. She had participated in all five Olympic tournaments.
All but Marta and 21-year-old
Beatriz among Vadao's 23
players have been in residency in Brazil since the beginning of the year as they prepare for the Women's World Cup and next year's Olympics hosted by Rio de Janeiro.
Poliana and
Rosana were signed to play for the NWSL's Houston Dash but entered residency before playing for the second-year
club. The same thing happened to
Andressa Alves with the Boston Breakers.
Rafaelle Souza attended the
University of Mississippi and played for 12 games for the Dash in 2014.

Pauline Bremer were promoted from the German team that won the 2014 Under-20 Women's World Cup in Germany.
Angerer was the player of the tournament when Germany won Euro
2013 and is one of six all-tournament players on Germany's 2015 Women's World Cup roster along with
