Under-20 World Cup: USA 1 Colombia 0

Rubio Rubin scored in the 58th minute to give the USA a 1-0 win over Colombia that moved it into the quarterfinals of the Under-20 World Cup for the first time since 2007.

The big play came late in the game when keeper Zack Steffen stopped a penalty kick to preserve the lead. On the play that led to the penalty kick, Kellyn Acosta was issued his second yellow card and red carded.

Early in the first half, Bradford Jamieson IV had to be stretchered off with an injury and replaced.
