New FIFA Movie Grosses Just $607

United Passions, the new movie about FIFA that presents President Sepp Blatter as a valorous anticorruption crusader, raked in just $607 at theaters in the USA. According to Boing Boing, the movie cost about $29 million to make, with most of the financing provided by FIFA itself. Starring actor Tim Roth as Blatter, and Sam Neill as predecessor Joao Havelange, the film portrays FIFA as a noble but flawed organization that is finally knocked into shape by Blatter himself. According to The New York Times, "'United Passions' is one of the most unwatchable films in recent memory, a dishonest bit of corporate-suite sanitizing that’s no good even for laughs."
