NASL Roundup: Rowdies sign second No. 1 MLS draft pick

First they signed Freddy Adu, Now, the Tampa Bay Rowdies have signed Omar Salgado, giving them two former No. 1 picks inMLS’s SuperDraft. The Rowdies added Salgado, 21, on loan from Mexico’s Tigres for the remainder of the 2015 NASL season. The connection again is Rowdies coach Thomas Rongen, who coached Adu on the U.S. U-20s and brought Salgado into the U-20 program at the age of 17.
