After their MLS match on Saturday that left Vancouver in first place and Seattle reeling, neither team was ready to send out its first team for Wednesday's Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League opener
that ended in a 1-1 draw. Of the two teams, the Sounders, losers of seven of their previous eight MLS matches, will happily take the point.
