Despite losing his first two games in charge of the Oranje, Netherlands coach Danny Blind says that he has not considered quitting. The Netherlands’ chances of qualifying for Euro 2016took a major blow on Sunday after his team lost 3-0 to Turkey in Istanbul, leaving the Dutch fourth in Group A with just two games remaining. “We sell ourselves short by giving away goals soeasily,” Blind said. “At the wrong times, in the early stages, we make mistakes. With that we played the Turks the cards.” He noted that although his team has “enoughquality” to do go to next summer’s European championships, qualification is “no longer in our own hands.”
