New Mexico’s Chris Wehan and California’s Arielle Ship lead the NSCAA College Players of the Week for games throughMonday.

Wehan scored four goals while leading the Lobos to wins over two ranked teams, San Diego and UC Santa Barbara, at the Grange & Ashwill Memorial Invitational.

Ship was named theDuke Nike Classic Offensive MVP after scoring two goals with two assists against North Carolina and Duke, both ranked teams. Her chip ended UNC’s 374-minute season-opening shutout streak, whileshe scored the game-winning goal at Duke, ending its 481-minute season-opening shutout streak going into Sunday’s game.

Northeastern State sophomore Trevor Reed and Anderson junior Idoia Agiree each earned the weekly honors at he Division II level.
