Loaded West Virginia hands another team first defeat

A year after beating Penn State, No. 10 West Virginia picked up another big win, a 2-0 victory at Ohio State. The Mountaineers dominated with a 23-5 edge in shots as Ohio State became the fifth team to suffer its first loss at their hands. “I have to give West Virginia credit because we’ve been playing them for 19 years and that is one of the best teams they’ve had,” said Ohio State coach Lori Walker. “They’re very strong in every spot.”
