Paola van der Veen, the first player Utah ever recruited from outside North America, has made an immediate impact on the 3-2-2 Utes.
It took all of 28 minutes in the home opener against Houston to set up teammate
Taylor Slattery for a goal after her shot ricocheted off the crossbar. She comes
