NCAA forces 13 women's college stars out of FIFA 16

Electronic Arts' introduction of women's players in its FIFA 16 video game, set to be released Tuesday, hit a snag after the NCAA told the game maker the eligibility of 13 current or future college players in the game would be compromised if they included them in the game. "We do not agree with the position," said EA, which did remove them to ensure there is no risk to their eligibility. Six played for Canada and Mexico and one for Spain. The list of players excluded included West Virginia stars Kadeisha Buchanan and Ashley Lawrence.
