The broadcast’s production will be completely in Spanish from the play-by-play to commercials to graphics.  Additionally, the game, which kicks off at 7 p.m. ET, will be broadcast for free, in high definition, and on mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets while an archive of the broadcast will be available on the Delaware Athletics YouTube page the following day. This is believed to be the first broadcast of its kind in HD and on the East Coast.

Hens All-Access: Delaware-Columbia

“We are excited to bring this historic broadcast to Delaware men’s soccer fans,” said Delaware Director of Athletics Eric Ziady.

Former Delaware standout and current assistant coach Roberto Gimenez will do play-by-play for the stream while Diego Ruiz will serve as color analyst.  Hens All-Access correspondent Richie Raspa will provide pre-game insight.

Said Junior All-American forward Guillermo Delgado, “Our involvement with the Spanish-speaking community has been very rewarding.  We have coached local teams and interacted with Las Américas ASPIRA Academy, a local bilingual school, which has helped us promote Delaware soccer.  The Spanish coverage of this game will reward the support that the Spanish community has brought these past years.”
