Clemson, which beat Notre Dame in a battle of ACC unbeaten teams, is No. 1 in the NCAA’s first Rating Percentage Index (RPI) of the 2015 season. Unbeaten and untied Rutgers is No. 2. Four ACC teamsand two each from the Big Ten, Pac-12 and WCC make up the top 10.

The No. 1 ranking is the highest in the Tigers’ history. Clemson was ranked No. 170 in December of 2010 when current headcoach Eddie Radwanski was hired.
