Barcelona coach Luis Enrique acknowledged that it is impossible to replace Lionel Messi after the four-time FIFA Ballon d’Or winner tore his left MCL during Saturday’s 2-1 win against Las Palmas. The club confirmed that the Argentina international will now miss seven to eight weeks. "A player like Leo is irreplaceable,” Enrique said Monday ahead of Barca’s return to UEFA Champions League action against Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday. "In pre-season none of Leo, Neymar or [Luis] Suarez played, but our idea of how to play didn't change. It is a challenge for us to be without the best player in the world, but it also provides an incentive for us."
