Concacaf Cup at Rose Bowl is sellout

Saturday's USA-Mexico match at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., for the Concacaf Cup is a sellout. With more than 90,000 fans expected, organizers are offering practical tips for fans to commute to stadium, which kicks off at 6 p.m. PT.

-- Vehicles with four or more passengers will receive a discounted stadium parking rate of $25 (general parking $40);
-- Free fan shuttles will run from the Parsons Engineering Building in Old Town Pasadena. The shuttles will be running on dedicated roads directly in and out of the stadium prior to, during and after the match.
-- There will be ticket check points for all vehicles entering the Stadium on match day. Those without a ticket will not be permitted into the Rose Bowl area.

Both U.S. Soccer and Mexican soccer federation offered tickets to their supporters' group, and Concacaf held a public lottery.

    Oh Great!!!... I've been on a Trolly with Germans and Dutch Squaring Off, until an Italian actually tried to get on the Tram, and they Jointly Attacked him...My Recommendation...SHUT DOWN THE BUSES AND TRAINS...MAKE THEM DRIVE IN CARS, So they get there late and Leave early...**Re-Post**...Santiago 1314 commented on: August 28, 2015 at 1:08 p.m... "Ed, I hope you are Right... It's time for 50k USA fans to "Stand Up for America"...But, if this occurs, This will be the Event that will put Trump "Over the Top" with American Voters...Riots Inside and Outside the Stadium, Total Chaos on the Pitch...If the Democratic Mayor of LA is smart, they will send Massive Riot Squad..**Santiago 1314 commented on: August 28, 2015 at 6:12 p.m... No es Broma... si Viene 50k Gringos y 50k Mejicanos, gonna be lots of Fights, especially if USA is Winning...Mark my Words**

    "FanFest" starts at 2:00???...Organizers don't get how Azteca TV and other Latino Media have been "Stoking the Fires" of Anti-Gringo(Trump)...This is not some "Friendly" or Neutral World Cup Environment...I can NOT Recall any other game in History, Where 100, 000 fans are going to Show up at a "50/50" Split...

    In Most Countries, When 5, 000 Opposition fans Show-up, There is about that many Riot Squad that are "On-Call"...The Question here is, Who is going to be the "Home" Team at Azteca Norte.???

    The Rosebowl is not set up to segregate fans the way many other facilities around the world do. Any police presence will be negligible compared to the vast crowds. If anything bad happens US Soccer will claim ignorance simply because we haven't had riots on these shores before. Maybe LAPD should give a call to any major city in UEFA or CONMEBOL to ask how they manage the crowds there. A few horses wandering the grounds is not going to do it.

    I told you the USA would support the team and buy their share of the tickets. My son got selected to purchase tickets through the lottery system but unfortunately for the family we could not commit to the expense with air fare hotels etc. The ticket options were sold to ensure the fans were sitting in the same section as other USA or Mexico fans. I went to the 1994 World Cup at the Rose Bowl and have been there for other football games and I would definitely suggest taking a shuttle. Separate the fans into different parking lots as they have done for the seating. LA Police officers will not be there but I am sure plenty of LA County Sheriff's will be- enjoy, be smart, have fun and respect each other.
