Two matchups -- Panama vs. Cuba and Trinidad & Tobago vs. Haiti -- will be played as a doubleheader on Jan. 8 at the Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama City, Panama, to determine the final two
berths in the 16-team Copa Centenario. The two winners will advance to next summer's special edition of the Copa America in the United States.
They will join the host USA, 2015 Gold Cup
champion, 2014 Caribbean champion Jamaica and 2014 Central American champion Costa Rica as the Concacaf representatives in the tournament. All 10 South American teams will take part in the tournament,
which will played in the United States from June 3-26
The four playoff contenders earned their places in the play-in matches by virtue of their performances at the 2015 Gold Cup. Cuba,
Haiti, Panama and Trinidad & Tobago were all quarterfinalists. Panama earned the right to host the play-in event as the best finisher of the group, finishing in third place.
