scored from 20 yards his second goal of the season off an assist from Fabian Herbers.
Xavier upped the pressure in the second half, holding a 13-10
shot advantage over Creighton, but until Vasquenza's winner, the Bluejays had the best chance, a shot that Herbers that struck off the upper left corner of the goal in the 51st minute.
With just 73 seconds remaining, Vasquenza collected a loose ball in the box to score the game-winner for his fourth of the season.
