BC's Ed Kelly wins 300th college game

Boston College's 2-1 win over Syracuse gave Eagles head coach Ed Kelly his 300th career victory. He is just the 19th active coach and the third in the ACC with 300 career coaching victories. Kelly's 300 win rank 41st all-time among collegiate coaches.
Boston College is now 9-6-1 overall and 4-4-0 in the ACC.

Simon Enstrom had a goal, his goal of the season, and an assist to lead BC to a victory.  Fellow freshman Trevor Devock scored the other goal, his fifth.

Kelly, who played in the NASL and ASL and earned two caps for the USA in 1974, has a 300-219-61 record in 31 years of coaching, 28 at BC and three at Seton Hall. His 260 wins at Boston College rank him first on BC’s all-time list.

He has guided the Eagles to 11 NCAA Tournament appearances, including six straight and 10 since the year 2000. They won the ACC title in 2007.
